Jack Kahane (pseudonym Cecil Barr; 1887-1939) was a writer and publisher, known for founding Obelisk Press, which famously published Henry Miller's 'Tropic of Cancer' and served as a precursor to his son's ownership of Olympia Press, publisher of Nabokov's 'Lolita'.
