This is the English translation of the book by the renowned artist, art critic, and historian Alexandre Benois (1870–1960).
Under the title 'Reminiscences of Ballet', it was originally published in Russian in the monthly magazine 'Russkie Zapiski' in Paris, running from April to September 1939. It was later translated into English, with the first edition published in 1941.
