Lily Braun (1865-1916), a German feminist writer and politician of the Social Democratic Party, addressed various topics in her writing, including the exploitation of female labor across different economic systems, the importance of insurance, women's rights within different political parties, and the responsibilities of women in political struggles. The book in question is a translation of the German edition Die Frauen und die Politik (first published in Berlin in 1903).
It is highly likely that this book was published by Mariia Malykh (1879-1967), a prominent female publisher. Her Marxist publishing house primarily focused on social and political themes. The literature that she hesitated to publish legally under her own name was edited under the name of the fictitious publishing house 'Molot' (not to be confused with another publisher of the same name in Odessa, which was also involved in publishing political materials).
