The collection includes photos from various regions, showcasing the diverse landscapes and cultural heritage of the Caucasus. Highlights feature the Caucasus Nature Reserve, known for its wildlife and natural beauty, including the Guzeripl Dolmen, a megalithic tomb. Additionally, there are images from Kabardino-Balkaria, with glimpses of Nalchik, Kunnyum Aul in Upper Balkaria (nowadays abandoned), and the Chegem waterfalls. The collection extends to Karachay-Cherkessia, encompassing Teberda and Dombay, with notable photos capturing Karachay guides and the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Convent, which stands abandoned today.
Based on owner's marks, it is evident that all these photos were captured by professional geographers.
