This photobook is devoted to the major figure of the Cuban Revolution, Ernesto 'Che' Guevara. The poem by Evgeniy Dolmatovsky is accompanied with photos by journalists Genrikh Borovik and Vasiliy Chirkov, Hispanist Vladimir Vernikov, photographer and traveler Lev Veisman, and Cuban photographer Roberto Salas. 
The copy was signed and inscribed by the poet and popular song lyricist Evgeniy Dolmatovsky (1915-1994) to the poet and critic Sergey Koshechkin (1924-2000).
