In good condition, light wear to edges, owner mark to back side of smaller photo. The leaf with the press photo information is glued to the back side of the bigger photo.

Marquez visited Moscow in 1987 to attend the XV International Film Festival, marking his third and final visit to the USSR. During his stay, the esteemed novelist engaged in a lengthy conversation with Mikhail Gorbachev, during which he expressed, 'You have never had a ruler of such intelligence, of such measure'. 
These photos captured moments from the press conference held during that time. Notably, Galina Kmit (1931-2019), a renowned female photo artist and correspondent, was the author of one of these photographs.
