This book explores the life of Misia Sert (1872–1950), a gifted pianist of Russian-Polish descent who was both painted and admired by artists such as Renoir and Toulouse-Lautrec.
Known primarily as a patron of contemporary artists and musicians, Misia hosted influential salons in her Parisian homes for decades. She was a close friend of Serge Diaghilev, offering him both creative and financial support, and she also shared a strong bond with Coco Chanel.
