The book was authored by the Hungarian communist journalist Pál Hajdu (1896-1937/8).
After the collapse of the Republic in 1920, he was arrested and sentenced to prison. In 1922, he participated in the Soviet-Hungarian prisoner exchange deal and went to Russia. Subsequently, he worked for The Publishing Association of Foreign Workers. However, Hajdu was later arrested and executed in Kommunarka.
The edition of this book was banned in Russia.
