This collection presents a diverse array of photographs capturing streets and expansive panoramas from various locales. Among these locales are Osaka (featuring the Shinsaibashi Bridge adorned with a Kirin beer advertisement), Kyoto (including the Kurodani Cemetery), Yokohama, Dogashima, Fuji, and other places.
A particularly remarkable image within this collection captures the Shinshu Otani-ha Namba Betsuin Temple in Osaka—a temple that fell victim to devastation in 1945 and was subsequently reconstructed in 1961.
Furthermore, it's crucial to emphasize particular photos in this collection. These encompass depictions of prostitutes standing on the balconies of 'The Nectarine brothel' in Yokohama (a globally renowned establishment also recognized as No. 9 or Jimpuro, which maintained a prestigious status within the city until the cataclysmic Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923), the solemn funeral procession, the Buddhist monks, the sago palms that lend grace to the courtyard of the Myōkokuji temple in Sakai (Osaka), as well as the specialized shops dedicated to umbrellas, porcelain, and grocery.
