The playbill includes details of the celebration events held on February 1st and 2nd, 1925. On the second day, excerpts from Mikhail Glinka's opera 'Ruslan and Lyudmila' and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Sadko' were performed, along with the ballet 'La Sylphide' by Jean-Madeleine Schneitzhoeffer and 'Petrushka' by Igor Stravinsky.
The back cover features an image of the Bolshoi Theatre. The original lithograph, from the album 'Views of Moscow' (1840-50s), was created by Jean-Baptiste Arnout (1788-1873) based on a painting by Joseph Eustache Vivien de Châteaubrun (1793-1852).
This playbill is accompanied by an invitation card for the two-day celebration.
