The book includes information about legendary choreographers like Marius Petipa, Serge Lifar, Maurice Béjart, Roland Petit, Carolyn Carlson, Alvin Nikolais, Merce Cunningham, and Pina Bausch. It also highlights renowned dancers and their performances, including Nijinsky, Nureyev, Baryshnikov, and others.
The book was presented by a music and dance critic, the head of the dance section at ‘Le Figaro’, and illustrated by the official photographer of the Paris Opera.
