The cover and typography design were created by the Russian constructivist artist Varvara Stepanova (1894–1958), who was a long-time collaborator and wife of Alexander Rodchenko.
This copy includes a stamp featuring Stepanova's home and workshop address.
Additionally, the issue includes posters and photomontages from Vladimir Mayakovsky's books, designed by Alexander Rodchenko.
