The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, signed on March 3, 1918, in Brest-Litovsk, marked a significant event in history. Under the terms of the treaty, Bolshevik Russia conceded nearly half of its European territory and formally recognized the independence of Ukraine.
Regrettably, the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was widely regarded as a highly demeaning and disgraceful agreement for Russia, perceived by many as an act of betrayal.
However, amidst the turmoil of the ongoing Russian Civil War, the treaty did offer some respite to the Bolsheviks, who were already embroiled in the conflict.
In 1918, three editions of the treaty were published in Russian. The edition we present was released without accompanying maps and duty rate tables.
