This is the earliest book devoted to Vaslav Nijinsky (1889–1950) and his art. It was written by English lecturer and author Geoffrey Whitworth (1883–1951) with Nijinsky's assistance. It details how he rose to prominence as the greatest male dancer of the early 20th century.
The text is accompanied by illustrations by Dorothy Mullock (1888–1973), renowned for her advertising posters for the London Underground and her costume designs for Clifford Bax’s plays.
