This book delves into the world of chocolate: tracing its origins from the Native Americans to the Russian confectionery 'Red October'.
The illustrator, Vera Ivanova (1896-1948), studied at VKhUTEMAS and collaborated on several books with Lev Zilov (as mentioned in 'The Century of Russian Book Art', p. 114).
The author, Lev Zilov (1883-1937), was a poet and writer known for his works for children.
